Urbane.Company was started by John Wofford in 2021 with the goal to reduce reliance on plastics.

What began as frustration with plastic planters and plastic mesh drains evolved into a drive to create something longer lasting and beautiful. Thanks to Liquid Deposition Modeling, ceramics can be 3D-printed to create new solutions for current problems. By printing with porcelain, Urbane creates planters using a patent-pending drainage solution that eliminates the need for plastics. Using traditional clay and glaze materials creates objects that last for centuries.

Trained as an architect and registered in New York state, John brings his love of 3D modeling and precision to every design. As the company grows, he looks forward to sharing more designs for the built environment.
